Perhaps I did rush through the production of this one a bit...three points where the syncing of the music with the footage are completely off, yet another typographical error in the credits...and too many other parts where I just got plain lazy with it.
So now, after adequate time to study the response (or lack thereof) from YouTube's members, and where the video could be improved, I now present the Special Edition of "James Bond 007 AMV #8: Live And Let Die (Excel Saga)"
Most, if not all of the previous syncing problems have been corrected in this one and there is an additional funny bonus scene after the end credits since I wasn't able to put down a personal message like I usually do.
Ever since I first saw "Excel Saga", by the grace of another, more hard-core anime fan, I instantly became a fan of it's spontaneous and unpredictable humor. Along with the many parodies it often portrays of other, more widely recognized series, I knew that it had set itself on a whole different level in the art of anime...and that it had earned a spot in "The James Bond 007 AMV Collection".
The themes and lyrics of "Live And Let Die" just seems to accurately reflect that never-ending amount energy and enthusiasm behind the characters, despite being mostly without a coherent plot throughout the length of the series, which in turn, is also complimented well by the song which features significantly less lyrics that tie it to the movie its' named after.
This will be an AMV like you have never seen before from me, just like the actual "Excel Saga" series...everything you see in my video it has barely scratched the surface of how really ingenious and funny it is.
