On March 31 2009 at 6:30am, Papyrus gave birth to the first kitten of her second litter. Surprisingly, Papyrus' daughter from her first litter, Sleepy, insisted on being there with Papyrus. We couldn't keep her away from this event. She helped lick with kittens when they were born (which stimulates them to start breathing) and even cut the umbilical cord on the fourth (and last) kitten.
That's so amazing! Go for Sleepy being such an awesome little assistant to the birth of her new siblings! <3 Seems like she's got mothering instincts of her own in plenty.

This is amazing! The other cat is acting like a midwife, helping the mother cat. I've never heard of anything like this. The spotted kittens are cute!
