Great old stuff. It's too bad most people have never heard this side of Journey. All they think of is Don't Stop Believin' and Faithfully. Journey used to be a fantastic 70's jam band.

Amazing voice. I love all the live versions of "On A Saturday Night." I miss Gregg Rolie and Steve Perry!

Thanks for the post. First for me hearing this. Greg & Steve.....they're awesome!

Great post Dude. Shame Neal's solo is so hard to hear, almost completely drowned by the bass and drums. Still, great to hear it anyway.

It's credited to Greg Rolie.
Are you thinking of "It's All Too Much"? That's track 2 on the album, and it's written by George Harrison.

gotta love that! times sure have changed...
-
JRNY did not write this.Look it up and get the shock of your life at the co-writers !!!!!

Didn't you guys listen to any of the early Journey? It's a little harder and in my opinion more soulful than their newer pop stuff. This is one of their old songs. They didn't even know what a Steve Perry was when they wrote this.

steve perry is journey

I get your devotion, but I think you were trying to say "you can't have Journey WITHOUT Steve Perry"...and you are exactly right on that point....
At the very end you can hear steve perry say "The Bitch Took All My Money!" LOFL thats awesome!
