In this scenario, I show you how to build a simple 1 level Approval Workflow around a fictional Expense Report. In the video I focus on the Workflow piece, although I show that I am using a Custom ASP.NET Task Form and a Custom SharePoint Feature. Therefore, I am adding links that will show you how to do both at the bottom of this post.

Due to the 10 minute video length limitation on Youtube, you will only see the beginning. If you want to see the full Hi-Res version, come to my site: www.sheltonblog.com.

  • think this is easy? - try K2 blackpearl instead. Gives you a lot more control and lets you reuse your "building blocks"

  • good one - but resolution is very less.

  • It is very strange that SharePoint workflow contains only 30 "building blocks". It strictly limits the use cases. For example, HarePoint offer over 180 additional workflow activities to expand the limitis and to make possible to use workflows in real life scenarious.

  • good one

  • pretty cool
