the 8800 has the vga built in but you could buy the vga for a 8000 for about $250 and not spend the additional $1000 on the 8800...the 8800 has a few nice extra features ...see the mvnation. com for details

Er is geen mod waardoor je een MV-8800 kunt maken van een MV-8000, dat is een fabeltje.

Echt serieus je praat als iemand die onmogelijk een MV-8800 en MV-8000 heeft gehad, anders had je dat gewoon al geweten.

Wat bedoel je overigens met 'kleurenschermpje wordt niet eens gebruikt'?

Nee, ik ben niet Nederlands ik woon er allen, maar ik kan wel lezen en schrijven. Een jaar geleden lijkt me echt sterk, want ik heb ze nog in mijn handen gehad in 2007. Die MV8-VGA kaarten worden wel nog gemaakt, die zitten namelijk standaard in de MV-8800, dus ook dat verhaal klopt niet.

Even later kwam de 8800 en dus had ik geluk en heb een paar maanden gewacht tot die uitkwam.

Meteen de 8000 verkocht voor 1400 euro.

Die VGA kaart zou me alleen al 320 euro kosten dus uiteindelijk ben ik maar 200 euro armer geworden door de 8800 te kopen.

Maar ik hoorde ook dat de MV-8000 een mod heeft waardoor je gewoon alle features hebt van de 8800 in de 8000.

Als dat zo is is de 8800 eigenlijk gewoon een slappe uitvinding van Roland.

Kleurenschermpje wordt niet eens gebruikt met VGA.

Nee, ik lieg niet. Die VGAs waren een jaar geleden nergens meer te krijgen.

Ik heb bedrijven gebeld die de VGA op hun site aanboden maar waren allemaal niet meer verkrijgbaar.

Toen heb ik Roland maar gebeld en die vertelden mij dat de VGA-kaarten niet meer gemaakt werden.

..also the VGA cards might be rare to find, but at least until a year ago they were being sold in the Netherlands. I know this because I currently live there. Ja, ik spreek ook een beetje Nederlands! Jij liegt gewoon.

No, I bought the 8800 cause in Holland and whole Europe the VGA card wasnt for sale anymore.

I didnt have the VGA yet so i sold the 8000 for 1400 euro before the 8800 even got released but Roland already told us about the 8800.

I only had to add 500 euro to get the 8800 so that was a easy choice for me cause the VGA alone was already 320 euro.

I know you wanna protect the MV but FL's Slicex is def faster for choppin and its way more advanced than the MV. The MV is also pretty fast though

I really doubt your story, if you really had the MV-8000 and afterwards bought the MV-8800, then you were pretty dumb. Especially if you really used the MV-8000 for one year straight. You would have known better than buying the MV-8800, as it's nearly the same machine. Also considering you're 19 yrs of age, there's no reason to believe you. I own the MV-8800 and it's at least the same speed if not faster than FL chopping.

To each his own but i prefer FL for pretty much everything.

I never got into FL cause i had the MV-8000 and later the 8800 but after ownin the 8800 for a half year i sold it cause i got hooked on FL. And i had been usin the 8000 for a year straight also.
