Preliminary interpretation of Fustus Agrestus (Peasant's staff) fighting page 1-4. From Paulus Hector Mair.
This video was shot at the Noorderwind training facility in Utrecht (NL). Long-haired fighter: Reinier van Noort. Short-haired fighter: Mark Verschoor.
Video of our still quite preliminary, Work in Progress interpretation of the Peasant's staff techniques described by Paulus Hector Mair. This video was mainly intended for internal use, so please excuse the goofiness and small mistakes. We hope to make and upload a better video of all 8 pages in the future.
This technique is in Japanese swordfighting, kenjutsu. Any kenjutsu guys would do well in trying this with big clubs like these guys, think of the strength you would build!

Awesome stuff!
That first play is very similar to ledall's "proofer, rake, quarter" except he would advise stepping in with the right foot while making the displacement.
