The correct title is - Auld Lang Syne.
Translated from Scots to English it means "old long since", or more idiomatically, "long long ago", "days gone by" or "old times".

@Zeobit you have your own traditions of course... like the audience clapping to the Radetzky March during the New Year's Eve concert at the Vienna Philharmonic. Would love to go to that...

@SchwarzeWitwe2 Fellow Aus here :)
I agree, Australia is historically, a nation of migrants. We always have low birthrates and high migration rates, if we close our borders the population would drop in the long term. Skilled labor is at a low and we have to accept immigrants in doing so. As a Chinese-Australian who's parents immigrated from China, I might be biased but its the truth.

@HibouPalois 'British'? surely you mean 'britannique'?

Je dois dire que c'est très British ce genre de choses, mais c'est vraiment bien!
Love David Robertson, the conductor! He is so cool! Thanks for the upload. Have been looking around everywhere! It makes you prouds to be British, doesn't the last night of the Proms? :D
