@alphaguitar2 Again, you fail to look more closely into what I said. I didn't say ALL death metal players do that, I said "A lot". You are just stupid. The real meaning of music varies from different kinds of people, it doesn't have one goal that all types of music can agree on. Music can have different meanings to one person than another. Obviously, ours differs, but the difference between you and I is that I can spell it out, while you just flat out can't explain yourself.

Music is a tool of art, and art of self expression. Having some pre-determined goal where you box yourself into one sound or "genre" kills that. Maybe you'll understand some day. @alphaguitar2 That maybe the case for this genre, but don't go speaking to a genre you quite obviously know nothing about. You are claiming death metal artists make songs just to get rich? I have to say, that's probably the stupidest thing I've seen from you. A lot of death metal artists try to make the most brutal, hardcore songs they can physically be capable of, and that is why I love it. You can't speak for death metal artists if you don't see their motives. Not all music has the same motive

@Joltfire95 You don't get it there is no "best" or "most brutal" sound, it's about the artistry and creating something that's fresh and completely your own. But in that same vein, people will know if you're bullshitting them up on the stage, if you're writing music because you want to be rich or famous or because you think it makes you fucking cool then people are going to see through that shit eventually. If you're honest with yourself and push to progress like glassjaw then you've got it all.
