Mariah has always been very supportive of the gay community. She's a much better spokesperson than Lady Gaga, who is actually more detrimental to the community than any other artist. She encourages her young, impressionable fans to growl like animals and refer to their hands as paws while she maintains a hetero-normative lifestyle free from the ridicule and hate that we, as a community, go through. It's a bit disturbing....

@eldiran2 hmm well some would beg to differ, some claim she popularised the "vocal run" technique that xtina aguilera, beyonce etc use today, she was one of the first of the nineties to use so much melisma, never mind being one of the bery first big pop artists to collaborate with a rapper which was practically unheard of in 95,weve probs got mariah to thank for all the pop starlets collaborating with the black rappers these days...and i mean...whos considered more of a diva than mariah?
