It's a "trump card". Can you name any other mobile suit in Gundam 00 with such a trump card/last resort? I personally love it because its hand to hand combat capibilities remind me of G Gundam which I love.

@virgozero Its the Trial System that allow the pilot to take full control of any mobile suit that link to Veda. However, it's has weak defend and lack weaponry to fight. It the last resort gundam to use.

@TommyTheChaos Gundam Exia has its physical Sword as its trump card because its has the ability to penetrate GN field. Gundam Dynames has sub stratosphere high altitube super sniper capable of hitting enemy unit in orbital space from earth ground level. Gundam Kyrios has a secret pincer claw build onto it shield to grab enemy mobile suit, and kill them with build-in electric blade. Gundam Virtue can form Nadleeh and use Trial System, take control of machines that link to Veda. Hope that help you

In a way yes it is, but I would call it more of an opponent surprise mechanism. If Virtue is caught, it can slip into its faster/more agile mode. This might also increase the pilots capabilities when handling the Gundam.
