i love her abhinay :)) absolutely beautiful, but her technicality could use refining, just a matter of practice. The only thing that really bothers me is her ghungroo. tying ghungroo is an art, and for professional dancer like her, its is expected. But her expressions were gorgeous

I think she is one of the best young Kathak talent in India.. I do not agree with the comments posted below, that she is on top because of her contacts, and all that crap... I know her personally, and I can tell u any day that she is a very talented and a very devoted dancer... u will be spellbound if you watch her perform live... only those jealous not-so-good wannabes go around abusing her just for the sake of spoiling her reputation...

I am mad about Kathak and can't stand people who play around with its integrity but on the other hand I realize that in order to restore that I can't go around attacking someone else's integrity.

In no way do I doubt YOUR understanding of Kathak, but I have noticed you have bad mouthed her in other postings of her clips. It is obvious to all who read you, that you have a vendetta against Shambhavi, and what I am trying to tell you is that we who enjoy constructive criticism of Kathak dance do not appreciate your mean, vile cattiness and do not want to read it here.That is what I find totally repulsive and unfortunately, you just don't seem to get that through your spiteful head.

If you had said her abhinaya was weak, and she failed to understand the bhava of the dance I would have accepted that is your opinion. If you had said her chakars were poorly executed and her sense of taal was off, I would have accepted that as your opinion. But you attack her personally, saying she is performing only because of her contacts, or that she looks stupid, smacks of personal vilification and you are trying to insinuate she is a bad person. If u do not agree with me u r free to have ur views as I am free to have mine. I agree I'm more than caustic bt can't help it. Her lousy dancing is such. Hwvr nxt time I'll be more soft in case people like u feel personally offended. And just cut the crap about anonymity. This is not academic writing which requires footnoting. If u appreciate this Bollywood-style bluff then I have sincere reasons to doubt ur understanding of Kathak.
