Push to Overturn Defense of Marriage Act Begins

The White House on Tuesday threw its backing behind a bill that would repeal a 15-year-old law that defines marriage as between a man and a woman. The Senate Judiciary Committee held its first hearing on the legislation Wednesday. (July 19)

@mrrose3085 The founding fathers had no position on same sex marriage, and it is likely that they would not care. As for the sanctity of marriage...you can go ask Kim Kardashan, who did more damage to the "traditional" family in eighteen days than the city of San Francisco ever could. That being said, I think that nobody has any reason to refuse TWO CONSENTING ADULTS the right to marry.

@mrrose3085 In America not everyone believes in god and the laws are for everyone. Gay people pay taxes just as straights, taxes that go to fund education for the children of straights, to fund programs for ALL to enjoy, why can't they have the same RIGHTS, this has nothing to do with any religion or god. This is about RIGHTS and EQUALITY, gay couples most of the time don't have children when straight couples bring a lot and guess who pays more taxes unmarried gay people, is that fair?

@NIN1995 yes you are correct, but also all gay right movements that are trying to redefine and change the whole meaning and definition of marriage are getting a lot of strong support from the Illuminati and their supporters from around the world. Homosexuality and sex-marriages are also part of the Illuminati's plan for a new world order just as much as the patroit is, which goes to show and proof why the Illuminati are pushing the U.S. federal government into legalizing same-sex marriages.
