  • Hey all, incase you are interested I am the artist featured in this footage.

I just wanted everyone to know that this is old footage and although I appreciate what everyone thinks about it, as well as your opinions on my validity as an artist keep in mind that this is severely edited and many of the things I do in this video are at the request of the producers. Thanks for your support as well as criticisms I will keep them in mind. If you have any questions feel free to direct them to my page.

  • Um...I wouldn't call living in a 88,000 yen guesthouse in Ginza "giving it all"...

  • There are plenty of successful blacks in Japan more than white entertainers actually. Look it up if you don't believe me.

  • what are you talking about it effects all races overseas, whitea are not immune to racism in Japan. i've seen plenty of my friends lose jobs before they even got them based on skin color. And By the way i'm not white.

  • why should we care? it only effects blacks.

  • My comment was just a sort of tongue in cheek statement that criticized the institution of popstars.

Now that you ask me, I have to say that I would not call living in a 88,000 Yen apartment in Ginza "giving it all you have".

  • I own a company that sells and distributes sports equipment. YES the hiring process IS very shallow especially in Korea they are SO racist my god! It's unbelievable, a friend of mine is an english teacher there, I used to live there as well, and they asked for a photo of him before the interview, he sent one and the lady on the phone straight up said oh im sorry your black my mistake, then hung up! Japan is NO where near like korea in that way but sometimes I do notice things. Glad I left!!

  • I don't feel it from him. I mean, he seems like he wants it but I don't think he's quite pushed it to the lvl you need to be at it order to get it big in Japan. It does, after all, have the second largest music industry in the world. He doesn't seem to have come to Japan for just the music, and he seems a bit too much like the cliche foreigner in Japan.

  • what sort of company do you own? I am going to start one of my own as soon as I get there. When my company gets big enough, I swear I will hire based on character rather than looks. When I was in Japan last year, I had to help hire a few people for the school i was working for. I learned more about my fellow coworkers who were also helping with the hiring process in those few weeks than during the entire two years of working with them. The hiring process was very shallow at times...

  • niether do I, but then again, I own a company there and I hire 'outside the box' off of pure principle alone, and my japanese employees just have to deal with it. Either that or find a new job, and last time I checked there aren't too many people handing out jobs in Japan at the moment. But I feel what you are saying though.
