New motor in my '72 mach 1, was breaking in the cam. it is a 351W, with World Sr heads, crane cams full roller rockers, comp cams .80 thick push rods, edlebrock performer RPM matching valve springs, cam and intake, holley 650 DP. The whine sound is edlebrock timing gears. Stock lower bored .30 over. This is, I was watching the camera, and didn't see the spark plug wire fall off of the plug, and land on the header. Which you will see in the beginning of the video.

  • Is that some sort of gear drive deal?

    Les

  • yup, sure is, edlebrock timing gears, the noisy ones.

  • Just a comment.. Sell the gears on e-pay before it's too late. Too much harmonics in the valve train.
