Me, Jack and Kyle made a mudslide. Here we are in action.
Thanks for commenting I'm glad you thought it was good. It was a lot of fun going down as you can probably see. How did we make it? Well, it took about 5 hours in total but it was worth it and now I'll explain. The mudslide that we made is at the bottom of Haslam Park next to the River Middlebrook. It's very close to me and yesterday Jack, Kyle and me were just on the park and we went near the river to relax. As you can see from the video, there is a steep hill above the river and we were thinking and we thought, now how good a mudslide would be. On the video, you can see the actual track of mud we slid down and you can also see the rest of hill, which is covered in grass. You might not believe this but about five hours before this video was taken, the whole hill was covered in grass -- yes, we actually dug up the whole track of mud ourselves. This was a lot of work, as the grass was hard to pull out and we wanted to make the mud slide really big, which meant a lot of grass had to be pulled out. At first we didn't think we would manage to dig it all up because it was taking ages to do a little bit. However, once we had dug up about 2/5ths of the grass we got faster and four hours later we had the track ready. The only problem was it wasn't muddy it was just hard soil what was impossible to slide on, now this is where the river came in handy. I've forgot to mention that we had brought lots of plastic empty bottles with us, as we knew we would need them to get the track muddy. So, we got all the bottles we had which carried about 14 litres collectively and filled them all up in the river and then poured them all over the soil. Now we repeated this for another hour very boring I know, but we needed to get the track muddy, so you could slide. I'd say we used over 100 litres of water getting the track muddy. Anyway, like I said after about another hour, the track was muddy and we slid down and it was great -- it worked! So then we videoed and here it is on Youtube. Well, I think I've written enough so I'll stop now. Finally, I would just like to thank Kyle for videoing it. That's about it, have fun watching it.
