The trailer for the amazing debut feature by Philip Ridley (The Krays, The Passion Of Darkly Noon), starring Viggo Mortensen, Lindsay Duncan and Jeremy Cooper. The film tells the tale of a little boy amidst the 1950s Idaho wheatfields who believes the English widow living nearby is a vampire, with tragic consequences. You either hate this film with a passion or think it's one of the most brilliant things you've ever seen. Taken from the Japanese DVD.

it's hard to explain this movie, it's about different things...children immagination, frustrations, love, omophobia, pedophilia, vampires, angels, ... try to find it, it's really wonderful!

Philip Ridley is the most oddest and brilliant man ever, you should read some of he's stage plays, The pitchfork disney and Ghost from a perfect place. Disturbingly brilliant.

He's also one of the nicest! I'm particularly partial to his plays for teenagers, "The Storyteller Sequence". He has a new film called Heartless out later this year, watch out for it!
