Taqwa-Bore is pretty good, I must admit.  You're entitled to your opinion, but it's silly to bring up Suicide and Islam. Have you no sense of irony? When the Sex Pistols sang God Save the Queen, do you believe that they really wished for God to save the Queen? Don't be a literalist and maybe listen a bit more closely. This isn't religious rock - its punk music expressing how it feels to be Muslim in the world today. Not the same thing at all.

While i like the music i'm not sure i get the point of having to split and find a separate identity within a genre that already is a giant sponge of kids from all over both internally and externally fighting and struggling against themselves and their culture. though even that isn't new or unique to the punk movement. we fight so hard to not be labeled and then we tag ourselves as niche as we can and then tell others they don't get it and it is broader than it is.

taqwabore is a fitting title. i was intrigued by the idea of taqwacore until i heard it. what the fuck... western scales? really? i was expecting dudes on sitars and shit and music as aggressive and explosive as their cousins in the taliban. im thinking taqwagrind needs to happen. whos with me?

There are reasons why people have anger. Better to sing about it and pray no one causes it, then again, who could know what anyone's been through in a warzone, unless they actually were there?
