This video shows one way to do a two hour, heated drip acclimation for new fish before they are added to your aquarium. This method gives your fish a gradual transition to your tank temperature and pH level.

  • I feel the pain when I see your setup: Extra bucket, drip tubes, the clip, etc. Checkout Doradon acclimation system for a much simpler way toward acclimation.

  • Much respect for the respect you show for comforting for your fish, but I hope you realize most dwarf Gourami's swim in seconds from water with margins from top to bottom of 10 degrees Celsius, as well as differences in KH, GH and Ph that are way beyond what you're trying to accomplish here. Also, the stress caused by being in a confined space (the sack it is in) while you're messing with all sorts of drippers, hoses, etc. is way more detrimental than dumping it in the free new water at once..

  • if only i had as much time on my hands as u to make one of them guys =] nice vid though very interested
