  • wow, this scene with Andre Braugher is amazing

  • Pembleton does a complete 180 from this scene to the next. He's calm and compassionate here, and in five minutes he's screaming, "She cried and SHE DIED!" He even mocks Risly later. Great contrasting acting by Pembleton.

  • @TheMrLandon Yes, it definitely is some great acting, very convincing and representative. In the end, the audience knows Moses Gunn's character beat this charge becuase Frank and Tim weren't able to prove his guilt despite their best efforts. And that is the ultimate frustration for any good homicide detective.

  • Braugher and Secor are getting most of the praise from the comments and that's fine but let's not forget Moses Gunn. From 4:30 to 6:06 he barely says a word and yet his expression emotes volumes; it's some of the best acting I've ever seen.

  • Andre Braugher (a Chicagoan by birth) is one of the most underrated actors in television history.

  • andre braugher IS frank pembleton. he totally inhabits the character. one of the most staggering performances i have ever seen on TV. this is not a TV show. it is ART. a masterpiece.
