  • @wmbrown6 If you were to put "Juan de pareja portrait" in the toolbar, look for the entry labelled "Two Faces of the Seventeenth Century || Trailer." Both Juan de Pareja and Rembrandt are featured therein.

  • The painting on this clip was Rembrandt's 1660 self-portrait.

  • Between 0:37 and 0:39, WOR must've had a good relationship with the NYC Museum of Art to display their call emblems along with the various art works. For me, the one that stands out is *Juan de Pareja.*

Additionally, you can put "Juan de Pareja portrait" in the search toolbar, and get to see both this picture and Juan de Pareja.

  • It would appear that this animated opening/closing for the editorials and editorial replies constituted an early "Scanimate" job from Dolphin Productions circa 1972; I saw such video-based animation, also, on the opening for their "Sunday Night Showcase" movie series which debuted under that title in '72 (and which used the same Ronda Bold font as in use for the "editorial" part of the "editorial 9" lower-third super).
