  • I have a question that many are wondering about. If you have faders set on the Studiolive 24.4.2, then make adjustments in VSL to the levels, what happens when you go back to the board. Example, if you have your vocal channel at 0dB and pull it down to -40dB in VSL, it doesn't physically move on the board. If you go back to the board and touch the fader, does the output level instantly jump up 40dB back to where it was before?

  • @stryke23x Great question! All you need to do is put the mixer in fader locate mode. This allows you to have a visual representation of your changes while you were away from the board. When you return to the mixer, move the faders to the nil point, and then select input, or any select button. This will make the faders active again.

  • Hey, I'm having trouble getting audio through my monitors from studio one. I have no clue what is going on. I have my M-Audio Bx5a connected to the output of my Studiolive 16.0.2, and I'm wondering, when i record i can hear what is going in while I'm recording, but when i what to replay it,I don't hear anything coming out. if you can tell what i can do. or if you can make a video PLEASE!!

  • @LosRivas1 Hmm... Very difficult to diagnose via YouTube. I strongly recommend you get in touch with our tech support team, or check out our knowledgebase and forum. I will DM you the contact info!

  • hey Guys, just wondering,, seeing as StudioLive and Studio One are both presonus products, how about upgrading the 2 to be compatible so that we can use the studiolive to control plug-ins, faders etc in studio one? it would kind of be like incorporating your existing VSL into studio one, maybe a button on the daw to switch the fat channel rotaries into plugin controllers?? how about a simple Mackie/hui control upgrade even for other dws? non flying faders are fine as long as they can control DAW

  • @adrianlives We're always open to feedback! Thanks for this, I will pass it on to the product / software dev teams!

  • Please keep me & all of us posted on any developements with regards to this, Im sure this will more than triple your sales... If Allen & Heath could add a simple transport and midi control to their ZED R16 (without fader recall) imagine what Presonus cld have if the StudioLive had this simple upgrade... Mackie/Hui Control via the same principle as VSL... compatible with most DAW`s... DO IT :))) CHEERS GUYS!!

  • @presonusaudio ; Thanks for the reply, hope they bite it wld really be a good move, this desk is awesome, all it needs is more freedom in the studio... as said before; who needs motorized faders?? all they do is wear out and make noise after a while, as long as we can recall them its cool. To be able to control a DAW from this console wld be amazing, wldnt need changes to the desk just firmware upgrades

(I think), im sure there are ways around transport control too using existing buttons..??

  • what about control 24 digidesing?>>>what is the diference? plus+fliying feders
