Reuploaded into a single video. Philippe Entremont plays Saint Saen's Piano Concerto No. 4 in C Minor, Op. 44 with Eugene Ormandy and the Philadelphia Orchestra. This was recorded in 1961.

I have this on tape, which was also the first version I heard.
It is still my favourite version. I love his phrasing.

I still have this on tape- they sold recordings on reel to reel as well a vinyl at that time. I was introduced this work from the Karl Haas program I think it was titled "Adventures in Good Music". He properly raved about this recording.

@johnpkling I hope so! It's a wonderful piece, and I think it's better than the second concerto, which is very popular... I also love the fifth concerto. :)

Thank god this is the best I can't understand why this isn't more popular of all the concertos?This is the only other version I could find here on the tube.It good I can tell its from an old performance.

@thedirtydeltas Darre has a great performance of it, and Stephen Hough is my personal favorite. Too bad his recording was taken off of YT (I think). This is one of my all-time favorite concertos also.
