Protesting "Pro Surge" Sen. Mikulski: Week No. 14

On September 7, 2007, the Hi-Rise residence of U.S. Sen. Barbara "Pro Surge" Mikulski (D-MD), in Baltimore, was again picketed by Peace demonstrators. This is the 14th consecutive Friday afternoon, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, that they have done so. The Peace advocates oppose the illegal, immoral and unjust Iraq War, which was launched based on serial lies by the Bush-Cheney Gang.They also strongly object to Sen. Mikulski's complicit role in continuing to fund the conflict. This video features, in order of their appearance, activists Jay Gillen, Dean Pappas and Maria Allwine. The protesters also shared their fears about the strong possibility of a U.S.-led war against Iran, if the Democrats in the U.S. Congress, like Sen. Mikulski, persist in failing to stand up to the Bush-Cheney clique.
