REPORT : In the western Indian state of Rajasthan, forced weddings are frequent - with the brides sometimes as young as five. It's been an illegal practice since 2006, but families struggling to feed their children see little alternative.

@goincrazy11 That's obviously impossible. We (the West) should help them by giving condoms and educating. Also, in the countries where you could probably live quite well for $2 per day we could also probably offer a pension to those who don't have more than 1 child. This way they could stop breeding like crazy - in poor countries children are often meant to take care of elders and that's why people have so many kids!

@raheem4real actually this is dont where the wife of the son becomes his mothers slave girl in a way and she is beaten or killed by his family or the husband if she does not comply and the dowry is sometimes never ending which makes it hard on her family knowing she might get murdered if they dont pay. its all sad and only in the frindge vilages for in the cities its hard to do this without ending up in jail!
