If I had more lumber, I'd build a bonfire from breaking scraps...then we could roast weenies!

I watched that last bit a couple of times over.

exactly suzuki sensei, usually the muscles for pulling are stronger than the pushing muscles and it's much easier to cut with a japanese saw. i also have some very old japanese saws.
-
Maybe yes.
Of course, saw of a Japanese variety shop has bad quality. However, the saw which craftsman made has very good quality.
And a side to move is reverse. Japanese saw pulls and cuts.
I have a saw before 70 years. I show it in video sometime.

Great Ernie.
You should get board more often ☺
I've never understood how to do something like that, I've always been told it involves much concentration/practice etc etc.
But I feel there must be some secret to it, like s certain style of punch or a certain motion.
I just don't get it

Pretty simple...just point and shoot. People fail when think too much.

You're entertaining to watch when you're board, Ernie.

Actually, I was quite relaxed when I made impact. I put very little effort. The key is technique, not brawn. I think I would have needed to "muscle" it a little bit, if there were six boards. But, my board was only four feet long.
