  • So this engine uses sea water for cooling? Can it be made a closed system for salt cold water operation? Whats involved? Thanks!

  • @aaadream Engine does have closed system on it, check out 1:06 in the video.

  • my chris craft needs this engine !

  • After a tough day at work, this video played through my home stereo makes me feel better. I'd gladly take a sponsorship from you guys!

  • @TheWiseguy00 A 30 inch boat?? wow...with 2 big block engines? DANG!!!!!

  • @michiganmotorz2008 The exhaust manifolds use raw or sea water right? How does it hold up in salt? Is it all Stainless inside? We use total enclosed cooling for manifolds and engine around salt water. That's why I was asking. Up on the Lakes and fresh water I can see that working fine. Thanks! I am always looking at other setups for ideas. Around heavy salt water engines and cooling systems take a beating.

  • @michiganmotorz2008 hey phill, i need to ask a few questions... i want to build either an 8.1L, or 7.4L for our suburban, im leaning towards 8.1L though... i keep on hearing about all of these marine parts, please enlighten me, if/when i build it, what parts should i upgrade to marine parts? i would assume you cant just use a full marine engine for a few reasons though...

  • Phil, looking into the new 502, 8.2L mag 380hp with you guys at the moment, it'd be great to see one of these videos with your overview for it ??

  • @Ryandavis33 you can put a marine engine in a car/truck but you cant put a automotive engine in a boat because marine engines are built with beefed up components intakes and exhaust manifolds will exchage tho

  • The bass line of that engine is incredible, I love the cam lope. Could you imagine that with a 3 litre Whipple Roots? :)
