You may know Barbara Rainey as an author, co-founder of FamilyLife, and a True Woman '08 speaker. But did you know she's also a painter?

At our last conference, we asked Barbara how she would portray biblical womanhood in a painting. This video is her answer!

So, how about it? Is God your center? Are you embracing the unique ways He made you, or are you trying to look just like that other woman? Remember, the expressions of biblical womanhood are limitless!

  • @walksbyf8h ??? Wow

  • @johnnyroyal75 LOL! Ok. hehehehe

  • @johnjenkinsjoanie I agree with you. Unfortunately many view this as the men vs. women for some reason.

  • @walksbyf8h I think your comments assume a lot. I guess your just waiting for a chance to argue.

  • @walksbyf8h What are you talking about? I guess you are just angry about something. Is that what Christians are taught to do, blurt out whatever in anger?

  • @johnjenkinsjoanie It wouldn't let me post the website so put three w's in front of cbmw.org/

  • Please go to the website for clear directives on Biblical manhood AND womanhood.

  • @walksbyf8h **8 Ah, here's the rub. I am the Joanie part of the name listed. I am a wife and mother, focused on Biblical Womanhood. Your issue is not scripture, it's that you thought a man was writing the comments. The comments were cleary just about the model of Biblical womanhood, and written by a man or a woman the only issue is what the Bible says. The Bible has clear directives for women. If you have issue of what I have said, please refute it scripturally, and not emotionally.

  • @johnjenkinsjoanie What I take issue with, John, is that you presume to come make comments about women. Where are your comments about men? Where are your directives to MALES about Biblical manhood? I'll say it again. You MEN need to start dealing with MEN and their issues; the women will follow. Kind of like that parable about removing the stake from your gender's eye before presuming to deal with the speck in women's.

  • @walksbyf8h ** My comments were strictly Biblical, Ms. Rainey was defining Biblical Womanhood, without using the Bible! This is a grave mistake. I did not say anything about woman working outside of the home, clearly there are times where this is necessary. But if we are to look for a definition of Biblical Womanhood, then we we have no right to define it because we think it means something. If you have an issue with my remarks, than you have an issue with the BIble because I was quoting Ti 2.
