Cass & Frankie Pre-4th of July 1989 Stakeout

July 4, 1989...Cass is helping Stacey move into her new apartment, and he literally collides with Frankie, who has come by to tell him that she thinks she's being followed when she's out following Lucas. She explains to Cass how she thought she saw someone's shadow in the corridor when she left the office late last night, and that she believes someone followed her out of the parking lot last night. Cass and Frankie banter a bit about all of Stacey's cookbooks (interesting that in three years we never saw Stacey cook, isn't it?), then head into the apartment, where Stacey offers them drinks. Cass says anything will be fine; Frankie declines.

Notice that in this scene, Cass is refusing to go on the stakeout with Frankie, but when Frankie is on the stakeout, Cass shows up and surprises her, even bringing her a cold soda to drink. Way to go, Cass!
