@guest40mail actually playing the hands a bit out of sync is the 'old' school of playing, it's supposed to sound nicer that way for Chopin
-
what else does this guy need besides his piano? nothing. magnificent...

Bravo. Much ♡ to ∪. Yes ∠∅√∈ is the answer.

he's obviously a good pianist. but I don't like his interpretation. he's always a fraction late with the right hand, slightly out-of-sync with the left hand: you can do -you have to do- this "ritardato" to emphasize some moments of the play... but not all the time, so mechanichally! after 3 minutes, I was bored (and I love Chopin, this Notturno in particular, which I played myself for years)

Everything you've always wanted: central heating, food to spare, satin sheets, and Chopin, played by Yundi Li. A slice of heaven, isn't it? Yawn.

Here's my favourite Chopin's Nocturne...I do like it, it's charged of melancolic!!!
-
not only did he perform this piece so well, but the stage design, lighting and the videography of this footage also blown me away.

~~琴韻好聽..{李云迪是中國人是嗎?}但的表情有些苦...
.如在表情放鬆鑽入茫茫入境..給飄入無人之境那更讚!!水啦! !********台灣嘉義golf-18 -
Rubinstein still has the best interpratation of the nocturnes to this day

Ах, зачем так о Ланг Ланге. А я его люблю.
Нельзя выкидывать никого из великих из "пантеона своего восхищения".
Но не углубляйтесь в полемику, я прошу Вас.
pure magic...
