Every time AI needs a ratings boost, all they have to do is get Clay to do a guest appearance. He will always be the epitome of what an American Idol should be. Too bad they let him down, and consequently lost him. If they want to boost their slipping ratings and popularity, they should do everything it takes to get him back (and this time give him his well deserved backing of ALL types) Clay will always be the number ONE "IDOL" to come out of that show...

what a voice! i just love clay to bits. IMO he's the best singer ever to appear on AI - no one else even comes close. for that matter, i can't think of anyone in the pop realm who comes close. he's got a very special gift, for sure.

I so agree. I was watching Idol last night and they had a video of highlights, and Clay was pictured 5 different times.

What song is that in the credits? Sounds like Clay in concert.

The song is "Back for More" and yes Clay did that in concerts. You can search that song on this site and see him sing it.
