Sam provides a thorough exegesis of Acts 2 demonstrating conclusively that this text actually strongly affirms the deity of Jesus.

  • KeithTruth, God being multi-personal... but Jesus had the fullness of God etc... if he had emptied himself of this, well, there is no reason to have thought that he was God (and so he could have not been a good tool for the Law- as Christianity has him as to it)! Christ does not (and cannot) mean that you are God... Jesus must have had a superior (he must have been with limitations then) but that even Cyrus was Christ- these people were tools of Him and not Him.

    Exactly what work is suicide?

  • @MrRamboseven Col. 2:9 "in him dwells the fulness of the God head bodily" simply means He is God in the fullest sense BY NATURE. (theotes) means the ESSENCE and NATURE of the Godhead. To answer you I never said He emptied himself of essence or nature but STATUS. No one says the title Christ means you are God. However, the OT says the Christ will also be God (Isaiah 9:6).Suicide? Like Muhammad wanted to jump off that mountain thinking he was possessed? Why believe the sick pedophile?

  • Jesus... what was he before he became Christ? Notice 'became'... God cannot become (unless you have an imperfect God...Mormonism)! This, I believe, can be compared with Jesus as God and it of course makes no sense! God MUST (always) be 100%... otherwise this entity is not... cannot be God!

Acts 2:22, well, if he is God, the miracles of Jesus (even one of them) could not have been initiated by him... and thus he cannot be God- he must have had a superior.

Islam IS the Truth- a corrector!

  • @MrRamboseven Unless of course God is multipersonal and Jesus, being eternal, MADE HIMSELF NOTHING, willingly (Phil. 2:6). Christ, although perfect in his nature, essence or substance, the necessary attributes and qualities which make him deity, was temporarily imperfect in his status (made man) so that he could fulfill the Mosaic law for His people/die in their place so that by faith or trust in Him and His work you can be saved

  • Jesus is divine but he is not God as again you can tell in this verse.

Jesus is the Son of God.

And any son of a divine being will be divine.

  • @jonldavis Claiming this verse shows Jesus isn't God while commenting on the 1st of 5 videos refuting that idea is very egregious. Watch the whole teaching and then in part 5 try to refute Shamouns arguments. Right now your position on this verse stands refuted by this series and you have not responded to it.

  • islam is a piece of shit!! it allows sex with minors, it allows killing for your god allah a.k.a satan, it allows to impose taxes on other people if there not part of your dictatorship religion (islam), islam teaches that it has to dominate the world by any means last being by the sword and on and on we go! muhammad is DEAD and buried, jesus never died, jesus is in heaven, jesus had divine powers, muhammad had only heaps of wives and sex slaves, fucking please! come to jesus your GOD!!!

  • In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word WAS GOD. Through him ALL things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. John chapter 1; verse 1 to 3.

My friends do you need any more clearer proof that Jesus was there are the beginning with God and that Jesus is God?

  • nothing can refute jesus deity. muslims n atheist always looking for something.
