  • VERY NICE, GREAT CAMERA AREA SHOTS! NO REAL BACKGROUND N'LOVE THE SOUNDS! PANDERWY 1

  • @jettrainfan - Athearn used to make Cow and Calf units the older Blue box stuff; not the Genesis products that make today, I have a number of them in my stash. They were Sw1200 A/B you could purchase seperately powered and un powered.

  • Where can i get a slug/calf?! I've been looking all over for them in ho scale

  • What is the brands names for these trains.

  • that is correct. The diesel has enough horsepower, but sends the electricity to the traction motors on the other weighted unit to spread the load and create a higher tractive effort without wheel slip.

  • Looks like a slug / calf - essentally it uses electricity from the main engine to turn the motors giving extra traction as opposed to running two locomotives eating diesel.

  • What's the function of the yellow car? Is it a fuel tank or an extra weight for braking power?

  • Very realistic scenery. Looks like what one would see in the areas between western Pennsylvania and Virgina. Excellent work :)

  • Beautiful Layout! Great switching action.

  • Great Jules!!!! Blow the HORN next time haha
