Kicker was rescued from a Texas dumpster by Animal Control Officers and raised in foster care by puppyeducation.com. He grew up with a yellow Labrador, a Great Dane, and a Chihuahua Mix. He was adopted out at the age of 14 weeks to a great home with another dog and a cat. Sad story, happy ending. We'll miss you Kicker, kick some ass out there! :-)

  • I don't understand why people don't just take them to a shelter. My son-in-law found very large puppy which we took to the shelter near my house. A woman and her kids who live in a farm came in at the same time to look for a dog and fell in love with that sweet puppy. They adopted him once the waiting period for the owner to show up ended. He was also lucky to have a happy ending.

  • @1caramarie There are 5 million reasons not to take them to a shelter. 5 million unwanted dogs and cats are euthanized every year in the US. Chances of such a happy ending are very very very slim. I did and still do Foster Care for shelters...ONLY dogs that will be otherwise killed.

  • my family and i r looking for a really great puppy to adopt or even foster i dont no which dog to chose there r so many but this one is SOOOOOOOO cute

  • @JakeBlack999 Your best bet is not to go by cuteness but by energy level. If your family does a lot of outdoor activities and you have small children, I would choose a medium size dog with high energy. If your family is at school and work all day and the dog is alone all day, you want one that is a little older and not a baby anymore. And keep in mind: the bigger the dog the bigger the damage, including injuries.

  • wt breed was he exactly do u kno? i luv him :*)

  • Only God knows LOL.

  • As a shelter volunteer I say thank you Ms Dolittle for giving Kicker the chance to live a happy life. The vermin that abandoned these dogs need some attitude adjustment

  • Great ending. I love Mastidanes. Lately, two sets of kittens have been found in local dumpsters in my home town.

  • for sure akita mix. I have an akita pup. they are very similar in younger pics, but the ears of course show something different. So many ppl say shepherd and rotti just b/c of distinct markings. I had aussie lab pups a couple years back and they had what us aussie owners call ten lines, so everyone thought they were rotti crossed. there are many breeds with such markings. such as kicker and his "shepherd" look. breed owners know best..

  • Ya, I have an akita rotti cross puppy, and when kicker was young, she looked identical to him, but I would agree with you that he is akita mix.. maybe great dane or hound? But, not shepherd... I find rottis and shepherd are always called out in a mix, when ppl should know that those very pbvious marking are familiar to many breeds. My aussie had lab cross pups a couple years back, and a few had was us collie and aussie owners call tan lines. everyone thinks they are rotti crossed b/c the colour.

  • guys i have a great dane i love him i help with great danes he has some greatdane in him hes like a greatdane german sheperd mix
