  • How tall is Liberty Place again?

  • It's even better with the red white and blue spire lights.

  • @conkerkillers4 no really, have u ever been to philly either? if u havent then shut up

  • No crap sherlock, 1 liberty place is the "17th" tallest building in the U.S. not the first.

  • this building looks awesome *_*

  • @conkerkillers4 945 feet aint short at all. Besides its the most beautiful skyscraper in my opinion.

I saw another proposed tower, it will be on the Delaware water front, it is called "The River Tower" It looks very imposing! Then there is the Trump tower, also on the Delaware to, not that magnificent, only 44 stories, it's architectural style is more suitable for Miami, I don't like it's design. And I hope they don't crap up the riverfront with gaudy casino development either.

This building broke the height limit that was in effect for decades. I saw the model for the Liberty Towers on display at the grand court in John Wanamaker's department store in 1984. I photographed this building from a hole in the ground till completion in 87". It has been called a modern version of the Chrysler building! They are building in all directions now, North up to the Vine street expressway, and westward across the river to West Philly and the Delaware waterfront to!

  • @Colin2k41 Actually, I'm pretty sure the name is going to be American Commerce Center.
