Depending on how much I got in before it cut me off, I review Osamu Tezuka's Black Jack collected stories, volume 2, David Heatley's graphic memoir, My Brain is Hanging Upside Down, the DVD of Jaques Demy's Umbrellas of Cherbourg with Catherine Deneuve. And Director Luc Besson's Angel-A movie, another French film. I got cut off before I could finish talking about it but Google it for the info. It is a SUPER terrific movie! It has subtitles but it's not too long and worth the watch. Very interesting story of a little French Arab American guy who owes lots of money to a Paris Gangster and decides to jump off a bridge but then ends up rescuing a tall beautiful blond who jumps in at the same time. Terrific story and funny.

We went to an Osamu Tezuka exhibition in Melbourne a couple of years ago, and I got to see original pages from Black Jack. It's great. Have you seen the anime?

I've never seen Black Jack anime. It must be terrific.

I would luv to see an entire exhibition on Tezuka. Did you take pictures? It must have been great.

BTW have you reviewed the Black Freighter DVD? I remember you mentioning that you planned to view it.

Thanks, man! I hope to someday figure out how to avoid getting cut off. In the meantime, I just plan on it happening and leave time at the end by just gabbing. :)

No pictures, but I did buy the exhibition book 'Tezuka - the marvel of manga'. I think it's still available online.

I've ordered the Black Freighter DVD from my comic store, so as soon as it comes in and I view it, I will review it for sure.

I remember having to study Osamu Tezuka's work for one of my Graphic Design projects, his work is so inspirational!

Graphic Memoir's are also wonderful :-)

Those movies sound very good too, Luc Besson is a genius!
