Excuse me, that's called a double negative. Proving a negative is logically impossible. There is not one bit of proof that god exists. If what you call proof really was proof - everyone would believe.

Wrong, and don't "tell me" what I do when you know nothing about me whatsoever. I don't believe because there is no evidence, and lots of evidence to the contrary. It's plain and simple. It's not about my life experiences or about my morality, which is perfectly intact I assure you. 'Just don't want to have to do all the work" what the heck 'work" are you talking about?

@1ProudFemaleAtheist you refuse to believe in Gods existence not because of intellect, but because of morals. either you've had a rough life and ask yourself ow can there be a god or you just don't want to have to do all the work. there is no proof God does not exist. but so much proof that he does. i think its the Father that brought you hear today. find your rest in Him, he just wants his child to come home.

Then I realized that though my nephew suffered so much and died, yet he was a conqueror. He is in heaven now and no diabolic force can touch him anymore. He has gotten what no amount of money can buy; HEAVEN. Honestly, sometimes I ask God questions; yet, I know enough to believe in Him in spite of all.

@1ProudFemaleAtheist Poor child. You know, I had a nephew; a very sweet boy. Suddenly, out of the blues, when he was 8, he began to have seizures of epilepsy. It was so devastating that the child had to stop going to school. It broke my heart that I could not save a child that called me uncle. Through that child I understood how parents feel when their children suffer; we prayed and fasted, yet nothing happened. Then one day, he died. I asked God questions; couldn't you have spared this boy?

"every other request might be answered or not" - so you think he's making sure your friend is "saved" from drugs while a mother's baby dies from Leukemia, and that's just what God is like whether we like it or not?

@1ProudFemaleAtheist Exactly! And you know, the fellow has so many issues he's been praying about now, yet it's as if God has gone to sleep. In fact he told me he'd have doubted God completely, if not for that one experience he had; the reason he is still standing. God never promised a Cinderella life for His followers: didn't His own son, Jesus die a shameful death? John, Stephen, Paul etc. Scripture says Jesus came to save us from SIN: every other request might be answered or not.
