It's My Life Equestrian Music Video

I wanted to make a video that demonstrated how neccessarry horses are to equestrians regardless of the risks and dangers and I hope I did it. The music is "its my life" by Bon Jovi. None of the clips are mine and some clips are from seabiscuit. I wanted to use western clips in here too, but I couldn't find any that fit except for 1 second cutting clip. Sorry western riders. It's mainly a mix of eventing and racing. Enjoy!

This up there IS a problem. Many people ride for thrill so they just put horse to slaughter when he breaks a leg, because they can't get a thrill with horse that's broke a leg! Do you really think horse would do all of this by himself? People push horses but horses have limits TOO. Every horse is different! All they care about is their stupid THRILL.

Do Natural H. that is a real THRILL if you love horses for who they are, not for competing and being a high star in world of fancy horses!

@WowzaGallop I personally disagree with you. A lot of NH is a joke. Occasionally there are real lessons and I implement those with my horses. Dressage is a sprt based in training and on making the animal the best he can be physically and mentally. Most NH doesn't care how a horse moves under saddle which in turn physically damages him in the future from years of being incorrectly worked.

In addition to the above, I've worked with many NH "trained" horses and they are some of the most confused animals I have ever met. I worked with a "parelli trained" horse and it took months of work for him to behave to where someone aside from myself would ride him. I'm not saying I have something against Parelli, but the fact that its marketed to the average joe with promises that they can do this on their own infuriates me and damages the horse.

over 80% of the clips were jumping/eventing..

Dressage is equally, if not more challanging then them..

@slickndry I am a dressage rider and as I'm sure you know, it's not very entertaining to watch to those who don't know what they're looking at. I would have loved to put in more dressage but I was trying to appeal to a large audience :)

@darkwolf071 I, personally, am not bothere db that so much s I'm bother by the lack of western. I ride western AND english and I find it irritating that western riders look down on english riers and also that english riders look down on the western. I find them both equally worthy of being recognized, because both are hard as hell and neither requires less skill or less talent.

@Weaponsmaster8595 I do not look down on western riders, there are western clips in this video. they are cutting clips which is what I first did when I started riding. I addressed this question in another post, I didn't have a lot of good clips of western sports.

I agree. horses are not ordements, they are not to be placed in purses (medaphor) and showed off to unless it was,a show horse. Horses are not toys, they are noble respect creatures who have been but here to be worked, ridden and loved.

AMEN! Horses make us more than what we are without them. For a horse we'll get up and out at the crack of dawn in snow and ice...or at noon when it's broiling hot...when for ourselves or anything else we'll involved with we would say the heck with it and just go curl up in the eat or AC with a good book...

i loved this, i hate, how if i do, (which is rarely) talk about me horses, everyone laughs, and thinks its hell pussy sport,

but it fustrate me, if they got on my horse, i doubt they would even know how to trot, an would chicken out of jumping 40cm,

they really just don't know how hard of a sport it is!
