Probably one of the quickest video turnarounds I've had. Started this in the spur of the moment on Friday night and had finished it by last night. Pretty pleased how it turned out, however I didn't use as many effects as I normally do as I felt the video would be swamped. I wanted the lyrics and voiceovers to be the main focus of the video and the softer flow of clip to clip fitted the mood of the song better. I'm pretty surprised at how long and how quickly I did this video considering the amount of university work I have. I have loooooads of other videos waiting to be finished/rendered so once this work load dies down -- more videos WILL be coming so stay subscribed! AND over Christmas break I'm hoping to start vidding The Vampire Diaries.

Story;

This song has a personal meaning to me so I've always wanted to vid it. I noticed there aren't many Blair Waldorf videos on youtube to this song and there's none at all focusing on Blair's relationship with her mother. I find their relationship very deep and interesting as it has so many complications and struggles so my motivation was never low when making this video. The overall storyline of this video is of Blair's struggle to lead a happy life with her mother's influence around. I'm not trying to portray that Blair's mother is a bad mother, however they definitely have more down's than ups which gave me much more material to work with. The video looks at how Blair constantly tries to please her mother but it's never appreciated, but there are underlying issues that her mum has which make her behave the way she does towards Blair (e.g. her divorce). I included Blair's bulimia as that seemed to stem from the problems in her family. Quite a more serious toned video, I shall upload some happier ones in future but I hope appreciate the thought that has gone into this video!
