Oh shit, you got 4.56 gears as well? Did you see my video responce? That's when i put in the 4.56 gears and Auburn LSD. Them gears are awesome aren't they? I've never dropped the pan on my tranny and it shifts HARD!

Are the shifts hard all the time with the stage III or just under WOT?

yep just put the 4.56's in before i put it up for the winter. Once the track opens back up ill be takin it there to see what it did for my 1/4 time. As it is if i dont have the caltracs preloaded and if i dont roll into it from a dig i wont get traction til the top of first. With the bars loaded and i roll into it it hooks awesome. The best part of the 4.56's besides haveing a better 60ft is that it really helped the truck in 3rd it doesnt seem to fall flat on its face once it hits third.

Hey man. I got the same year of truck. Did you do the valve body mod BEFORE you did the SuperChips programmer? Because I only did the SuperChips and it didn't need the resistor mod like they give you with the valve mod. Some guys a few years ago were trying to talk me into the Valve body mod as well as what i already had, but I'm like DANG DUDES! Mine already shift hard as fack on full throttle and normal at part throttle. Why do I need that too? I'll link you my shift test video. :-)

Yes i had the Sharadon Vavle body before i had superchips. I also had superships before i added the resistor because it didnt shift hard enough for what i wanted. The biggest problem i had was that i had a 3.55 open diff (which is what is in this vid) which allowed the truck to spin the one wheel when it shifted. I have since added 4.56 gears and a detroit true trac and it has made a world of difference in how hard it shifts because i now have traction.

They are pretty normal unless you are at WOT.
