When Ganges came down from the spiritual world, she was about to crush the earth with her waterforce, so Lord Shiva let her land on his head first. So now you know ;-)

Thank you for this! I will be heading to India in Feb 2010, and am really looking forward to it.
Your videos are well done, and very helpful.
I hope to make similar videos on my travels. I'm taking 6mo off work and taking a big trip. India for one month... coming up!
P.S. Loved what you said about "participating in the great university of life" -- YES!! You are SO correct :-) And that is EXACTLY what i will be doing.
Cheers!

Just got back from India and I have three things to say about that country. It is dirty, polluted, and overcrowded.

It looks as if we will be in India at the same time. That brings me to my next concern...one that may make or break my decision...What about the monsoons? How debilitating is it to move around at that time? I am looking at R'sthan, Gujarat, and them to the north. Also...heat. How oppresive is it? A guy from Udaipur looked at me as if I were insane when I said India and July in the same sentence. Thanks. All the best, Rich.

Love your videos of India!
Hey there...Very decent production and it is assisting me in my research for a trip in July 08. Well done. It took much effort for you to put this togather...

Glad that my efforts are useful to you. Dont hesitate to let me know if you need any help in your future plans. I may be able to assist in some way. I too am heading out to India again on the 10th July.

This video is fantastic. Thank you very much making this. What is your country of origin, and how did you come to know so much about India? I am planning to visit Mumbai this fall.

About as Anglo Saxon as you can get. Born near London. This was my third time in India participating in the Great University of Life. Try to go to Aurangabad, not too far east of Mumbai. Places to see Ellora and Ajanta. Loads of useful info in the India Lonely Planet Guide.

Shimla really is a nice place. What did you think? I was there 11 years ago, loved it.

Shimla, once Simla, is one of those places that will I will always visit whenever I get the chance to get to India. A super place to simply chill out after the rigours of the plains. Unfortunately, you'll have to wait several weeks for this episode.
