They are just sticking to traditions. Not many bands corps style or not do this. This is one of the many things that make 110 stick out. And I personally love the way traditions are kept.

@asylumslaughtr actually it's better, because that means there is more than one person working to make one rhythm. like tonal basses! everyone's working as one quint or sextuplets! :D

Strange? Yes. But it allows for some really nice rhythms and harmony when tuned correctly.

They just have split tenors. Half have the upper two and the other have the bottom two. Its a little weird but they are just as good as any drum line with quints, or sextuplets.

@bex1036 : wat it looks like to me is that they took a pair of quads and split the top drums and the bottom drums...wierd...
