If you knew me in high school, Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe Springs, CA 1976-80, I always had this song and other oldies playing on my radio.

man I tell ya hearin that friggin LEAD BASS made the hairs on my arms stand up. none of that wimpy electric bass guitar, a friggin stand up bass. new law...no stand up bass, no doo-wop, no kidding.
