A Fond Farewell. Goodbye Aaron Baker

Some situations just don't work out quite as you planned, and this is one of those times. A little over two weeks ago we were super excited to introduce Aaron Baker to the Herd as the newest member of our mobile team, and now we're also bidding him a fond farewell. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors, which will actually be a lot like his old ones as he will be returning to PhoneDog as of this coming Monday, Jan. 21.

This is a mutual decision, and in no way reflects on Aaron or TechnoBuffalo and we have nothing but great admiration and respect for each other. There are just times where things aren't quite the right fit as you expect them to be.

We've been working hard over the past year to bring you TechnoBuffalo 3.0, we've had record daily and traffic for much of 2012 and we're looking ahead to additional improvements and opportunities. We're definitely not going to be sitting back and resting on our laurels, we're always going to look to do more for the TB Herd. 2013 is going to be a huge year for us so stay tuned for exciting news that we have in store for you. http://tchno.be/UBMP5r

A few times I have had jobs where after day two, for example, both employer and I saw it was not a good fit. One or both quickly ended the relationship.

Fact is, jobs and positions are no different than dating. How many of us have got all excited about a first date, thinking "this is it, he or she is the one," only an hour into the date said "I have to leave, my dog is not answering the phone so I have to get home to find out what's going on."

Some jobs are like oil and water.
