  • Nice, Do these have a reverse?

  • @TheElsadogge Yes mate, just spin the fly wheel the other way!

  • are the rubber tyres of wilesco or of a other factory

    greatings from Holland

  • @wo2junk They are from a British company named Forest Classics. Just type that into Google and you'll find it easily. They are robust, washable and have good grip, well worth buying to protect the wheels.

  • Ive currently got a mamod, but Im DEFINATELY upgrading to Wilesco this xmas, D405 HERE I COME!

  • Good luck with that!

  • Very nice engine and well presented, too!

  • do those tyres fit on the d409

  • does the steering wheel work or is it just for show

  • My dad's got a Wilesco (a D409 Showman's engine), and we occasionally run it (makes a good photo pairing with my Accucraft Ruby at the grade crossings!) in the garage, although it really could use 2 wheel drive!

  • This is a great video, shows the running, towing and upgrading of a Mamod, an awesome video, thanks for the upload!

  • Great video! I love the noises it makes.

Just wondering how hard this was to assemble? I'm thinking of buying one for my Dad who's very mechanically minded (he's a fitter and turner by trade), but not had much to do with models.

  • nice :-)

  • Just got mine working today! She hasn't run in over 7 years!

  • so rc steering
