On The Loose - SAGA

Lyrics
One day you feel quite stable
The next you're comin' off the wall
But I think that you should warn me
If you start heading for a fall
I see the problem start
I watch the tension grow
I see you keeping it to yourself
And then instead of reaching conclusions
I see you reaching for something else

No one can stop you now
Tonight you're on the loose
No one to tell you how
Tonight you're on the loose

I see no harm or danger in escaping
If the method suits the style
We put the mind on idle
And let the others take it for awhile
When the pace is too fast
And I think I won't last
You know where I'll be found
I'll be standing here beside myself
Getting ready for the final round

No one can stop me now
Tonight I'm on the loose
No one to tell me how
Tonight I'm on the loose

The time we feel most stable
Is the time we're comin' off the wall
And there's every indication
We may be heading for a fall
So let the problems start
And let the tension grow
We'll be keeping it to ourselves
And while they're busy reaching their conclusions
We'll be reaching for something else

No one can stop us now
Tonight we're on the loose
No one to tell us how
Tonight we're on the loose

  • heard this song on the radio. was a rental car. im 26. i didnt get a chance to live in the early 80s and experience all the epic-ness. so this song hooked me very quickly. remembered the lyrics...so here i am. love the synth and the melody. fuck yah!

  • I was born in 87 but I grew up listening to all classic rock and I wish I was born ten years earlier just so I could have experienced the 80's.

  • born in 79 and I love the entire era of this music. Countless memories, beers, friends, raindrops and joints. Two thumbs way up

  • yes the 80s was a great time 4 music, way better than the crap nowadays, lol.

  • This was the first concert I ever saw. SAGA opened for Billy Squier in...'82? I was 13/14 years old, got drunk for the third or fourth time; my friend Clay couldn't handle his liquor, and blew chunks on the people sitting in front of us. Awesome. Thanks for uploading.

  • @hagakure6410 Then try Aldo Nova's second album "Subject: Also Nova" or my cousin really loved synth so tangerine dream uses it a ton too.

  • Ok, I was born in "64", was 18 when this was hitting the charts. I've waxed nostalgic today. Checking out old Rush, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd etc..., but nothing can compare to Southern Gospel Music. I'm happy to be born again. Just stopping in on my old stomping grounds, a trip down memory lane, if you will.

  • @Immortalfilth i was born in 96 and i like this better than music today.

  • @blimpfhs2005 Ten years earlier - Make it 15 or 20 years ealier to really enjoy it.

  • @blimpfhs2005

You can experience the music, and enjoy life as of today!

  • @irnmadn99

    Hahahahahaha.

    You're INSANE.

  • @CHHSE1986 Sir, I was born in 86. And honestly, I prefer this music to the stuff that is out there now. Being only 25, this music has some much more meaning than sitting behind a computer and making random beats. Musicians actually took the time to write music with instruments. I am on your side, but not all little shitheads little to crap that is out there now-a-days.
