@ljwartuk I did not mention the contact screw. I wanted to say, if two machines have the same speed and one has a longer stroke, then it will have a stronger punch. that was the point
@slavatattookg what are you on about?if you open the contact and you keep same power the machine will be weaker coz the coil has to grab the A bar from a greater distance away and needs to be stronger to overide the spring..so you will need more power for it to run the same
@Headshothorror4488 If you set up machine like that, you have to working off the tip, and needle must not sticking out of the tip, and the machine will work properly, without dragging.
@Headshothorror4488 if you keep the same speed and stroke is longer, the machine will have a stronger kick, because the same weight (armature bar) traveling greater distance at the same time. lines can be good, just reduce the voltage or DC, because the kick is stronger now.
What if i set a 8 look that is separated just a bit in the middle(long stroke) and speed it up to 110-115 and use it as a single pass liner. Would that work good ? I want the needle to come out far so i can see it but i want it to go back up in the tube so ink flows good and i get no drag at all. If its same speed as a short liner will it work the same ? Im thinking if its same cps as a short liner it will still line good. What do you think ?
@slavatattookg Ok cool, thanks for the reply, Your videos are awesome, A+ on them all , I can tell you know your machine and its performance and i appreciate the help.
I believe slavatattookg is correct, its called force

@Headshothorror4488 yes, it is ideal for line (with mounted needles), dc must be 50-55%

I set one with a 8 look on the nip(mid-stroke) and sped it up to 115-120 to use as single pass so i can see needle more. This ok ?
