@heartyc Actually the part about the church moving the celebration of Christ's Birth to December to coincide with the Winter Solstice is true. It was done to help convert Pagans to the One True God. The Bible tells us quite clearly that Christ was born during the harvest tax, but isn't clear on which harvest, so he was born July, August or September, scholars differ.
