Acid Jam on the new iPad run through the Korg Kaoss Pad 3. Apps used: RjDj, Technobox, TOPLAp, SampleToy.

There were a coupla mistakes and I probably shouldn't have used any other apps besides Technobox (corny intro and outro, I know), but there's a lot of great stuff out there and is way versatile. Let me know your favorites! Besides Technobox, mine are Start6, RjDj and BeBot.

  • Liked it! I watched the whole mix, and that's a compliment. Great, now I really want an iPad... and a Kaoss Pad.

  • @storerestore In no way does a stale beat characterize acid.

the only reason i dont pull out my kaoss pad and my synth right now and make a response video is because the internet is already too saturated with novice musicians releasing improv that they don't take pride in. IMHO, if you're going to release a vid of you fiddling around with your instrument, you should be closer to like 5,000-10,000 hours of practice time. At least so jackasses like me wont point out how simple your improv is.

  • @HArryhood421 I think what you call a "stale beat" is what the rest of the world calls acid. "if you owned a kaoss pad" has nothing to do with it. My preferences are not based on how a particular piece of gear was utilized. If yours are, good for you, but beardyman isn't exactly something I'd listen to for any other reason than to awe at his skills. Music doesn't have to be advanced to be good.

  • @storerestore the beat literally doesnt change the whole song... thats called (or what i would call) a STALE BEAT. hes got the technology to keep it much more fresh than he does...

  • @storerestore watch beardyman. this guys got a previously recorded track to play around with, and his vocal sample is lame. if you owned a kaoss pad, you would realize this is a really sub-par jam. like i said, beardy man does crazy stuff using the same technology, minus the previously recorded stuff. he just uses a mic and a bunch of kaoss pads to make really innovative stuff. IMO, this guy is using his kaoss pad as a music faking device, no offense to the poster, its just not that advanced

  • @HArryhood421 on what facts do you base this assumption?

  • Quality stuff!

  • wanna be a dj? we have an app for that.

you guys realize now everyone and their grandma is going to be a dj now

  • boring

  • 8 people know this guy really is talentless
