    EQ EQ 5 -4 7

  • what song is this I would love to have in on my mp3 player.I love a tele sound with the crunch.

I have a few tele guitars and always enjoy checking out what other are doing thanks for the great sound.

  • @1prsman

The backing track came from the GuitarBackingTracks website - it's a Joe Bonamassa track called "If Heartaches Were Nickels". If you go to the website, you can download it for free.

  • These pickups sound fantastic, but what kind of amp/distortion effects are you using? Cause they sound great!

  • @DrainpipEProductions

I'm using a Zoom G2.1u effects box plugged straight into my laptop. The effects I'm using from the Zoom are the Peavey amp simulator (for the distortion), compression, reverb & delay.

I very nearly didn't go for the Twang King pickups because with a name like "Twang King" I thought they might be only good for tele twang type sounds. However, I took a chance and, as you say, they're superb either clean or dirty.

  • beautiful twang!

The Axerus telecaster necks seem to be great - the one on this guitar certainly is, although having said that, it's the only one I've played. I was a little wary of Axerus necks myself as Fender or Warmouth necks are so much more expensive. I had nothing to worry about though. The finish was great, as was the fretwork. I've played this guitar a lot in the last year or so (since I built the guitar) & the frets haven't worn at all really & they're very well seated. Recommended.
