Re: Anti Feminist

Just me trying to refute some points that blndsundoll4mj made in her video "Anti Feminist." I'm not going to fool myself into thinking it'll change her mind, but a lot of the views she expresses are commonly held by men and women today and I wanted to just put a voice of reason out there. Feminism is great. Internalized misogyny is whack.

You generalize men near the end of your video. What people need to understand is gendered characteristics are fluid models that we apply to the biological sexes and they change across time and cultures. Some feminists are trying to show that gender is a historical creation separate from ones biological sex. A popular example is a third gender represented in Samoan culture known as the 'fa'afafine'. Even though its still a label it helps us to see 'gender' itself is cultural.

@crangdaniel That's a Logic fallacy; What is true of the parts is true of the whole. You seem to have it in your head that feminists are radical man-hating bra burning extremists. Most Feminists I have met are against discrimination of any kind; be it LGBT, Racist, Ageist or Sexist. You've went ahead and judged and entire movement based on the actions of a few You don't have a clue what the fuck you're talking about. Seriously you're way out of your league so just quit now.

@arcaneminded NO feminism has and ever only had the political tools to promote only women. This was legitimate back in the day when women had less rights than men. Now a days that work is long ago accomplished and even gone to far over the line ending up instead oppressing men. Further use only do damage. The only remedy is pushing back feminism and acknowledge real equality without feminism. An equality that supports mens rights and issues also and not just women.

@marinphillips German is a nationality not an extreme political view. What I did here was take extreme feminist comments and presented them. That would be like you taking quotes from hitler and saying all nazis feel the same way..... well they kinda do more or less.

Nazism = anti semit

feminism = anti men

to various degrees but still the same message.
